1990's technology has been improved by bloat? That's like when Microsoft thought it improved xp with vista. Suddenly everyone needed one gig of RAM just to idle.
You're exactly right...remember when 64K RAM was it! Programmers have gotten "lazy" with all the memory they have to "play" with!

Programmers haven't got "Lazy", we as consumers have demanded more, and they need room to do that.. .. .. just saying.. .. ..

Hey, who can argue with that? 1990's technology using a 1990's email protocol technology.
Still the best though, still fastest to deliver. One can argue cars still use that old technology, 4 stroke engines, that was invented how long ago? Can you tell me is there anything else out there better at instant communication?

Exactly what you need in a smartphone, does what it claims and to the point without the fancy bling.
