    Blackberry seems to think windows phone is insignificant while other messaging services work hard to make their apps available to all platforms.

    I think since the user base for windows phone is relatively small in comparison to iPhone and Android, BlackBerry had to focus its energy a bit. We all saw how long it took for BlackBerry to release cross-platform to iPhone and Android. Now imagine if BlackBerry decided to wait until they had the Windows phone version up and running. I imagine BBM would not be cross-platform at all right now if that were the case.
