Pearl 8130 running 4.3 OS with vzw. Minimal apps installed, but here are the major ones: Viigo, mobiTV, etrade mobile pro, opera mini, google maps, CB launcher(of course).

Phone has been lagging a bit so I checked my file free memory it was ZERO! That flushing sound I heard was my call logs etc...

So I went to do the normal memory fixes, cache, battery pull etc, only to see a very measly .7MB so I looked for things to delete.... The only thing I really didn't use was BB maps.

File fee memory went to 8.5MB

Did I just mess up?

I like jeffh's memory program (fool works for me)
Yeah and when you are done optimizing memory d/l google maps bc bbmaps kinda sucks (imo)

I did delete BB maps! I currently use google maps! Did you even look @ this thread before posting lol!

You may not need BlackBerry Maps, it depends on your carrier to provide support.

If you do need it, it is simple to re-install following the directions in our thread.

I didn't see google maps bc its seperate lines on the wap site. And I don't seem to be able to edit my posts today. (Fool should read foolproof)
