Noticed this on Facebook recently

As BlackBerry is said to lose customers and marketshare, I still think we are (one of) the most enthusiastic customer base a company can have. We are born, live and die next to our Blackberry device, whether it is OS 5/6/7 or 10. Without us enthousiasts, Blackberry probably would have already been bankrupt. We are keeping this company alive, and I am DAMN proud of that.

I scrolled through Facebook the other day and decided to search how many likes the page of the BlackBerry community has, and it turned out to be more then I could ever imagine:

almost 30.000.000 people like BlackBerry on Facebook. For a company that has so much negative publicity spread around the world, this is AWESOME!!

To put this in perspective: Windows Phone, which is believed to be the #3 mobile OS in the world, hasn't even got one tenth of this amount:

I couldn't even find an official Facebook page for neither Android or iOS, but the most amount of likes I could find for the OS itself, is about 1.000.000 .

This means, we are the biggest fanbase for any OS on Facebook right now!! Great news!!

It is interesting....

As much as I don't want to rain on the parade, i have a feeling a lot of these likes maybe a few years old, people don't tend to change their likes on fb to much as its kind of pushed aside

if only their revenue would increase like that

I'm sure likes mean something, but twice as many people are talking about windows phone compared to blackberry, which I find to be more important when it comes to interest in a product/company.
