    Hammer the Facebook pages as well.

    OK so you make sure they get the devices early and assign a few tech guys or a whole team to walk them thru the testing they need to do so it doesn't take them 45 days longer than everybody else. Excuses fall short here. They spend boatloads of money on a Super Bowl ad and launch in NYC for a product you can"t yet buy yet, but they let this happen. I don't get it.
    Again, you have a fundamental lack of understanding as to how software/hardware testing works. Having the people who built the product help do the testing is A Bad Idea(tm). Each carrier has their own testing methodologies and test plans. RIM has no input into this. None. Nada. Zero. The carrier tests the product and they report bugs if they find any. If those bugs are considered severe enough to prevent the carrier from releasing the product, RIM fixes the bugs and submits a new candidate to be tested again.

    RIM could send their entire development staff to sit in the parking lot at Verizon, and it wouldn't make their testing go any faster.
