It seems that a very useful function in things like sanoodi, gpslogger etc would be to notify you via audio or vibration (or both) every kilometer that you track... is there no software for bb that does this???

Well, the programmer of gpslogger is very amenable to suggestions, although, I don't want the application to get much larger as memory is always and issue on my 8830.
Great - how do I get hold of the developer? Shouldn't be a big addition - just what distance interval the alert should happen on, and whether it should be audio, or vibration, or both
