I setup gmail on my Blackberry and it's difficult to navigate to the labels, none of the gmail features work as they did on previous Blackberries that I used some time ago, I've been away from BB for almost a year.

Is this because Google ended support for the Blackberry? If so that's incredible and a bit of a blow to BB ... when I heard about this in November I didn't realize the impact until now when I'm trying out the 9790.

More importantly how can I get gmail to work on my 9790 like it does on a computer, iphone, android etc, so it shows labels, stars, access to filed mail etc.?

"Hard"? No. Rediculously inconvenient? Yes.

If you have 4 email accounts, using folders / labels for each one it's a lot of (unnecessary) scrolling and hunting to find a particular folder.

No gmail app for blackberry bugers that up even more.

Afterall Blackerry is king of email and communication, right? With the way it handles mail now it's slipped in that regard. Such a shame.
