    I have bought my 7100i at lunch today. I'm running BIS. I filled out all the info to get my email coming to the BB, one unit works fine and the second is not. The rep says it may take up to 24 hours before it starts coming thru. I don't even have the icon for that email account yet. Does this make since that first unit worked right away and the second is still not, after 4 hours?

    Pull the battery on the BB, replace and reboot. Often the activation and email service books are installed on reboot.

    It will, once it is activated.

    After the 24 hours, call your carrier back and confirm that the Data Plan has been added to your account. Sometimes they screw up.

    I just got one saying the handheld was registered. Still no icon though. And I sent an email to myself and have not recieved it yet...

    After talking with southernlinc and reinstalling BB software, I finally started getting email. Now I get duplicates!!!Duplicates or none, hmmm what a decision...
