I'd feel more comfortable if an announcement was made by BlackBerry. The only thing we've seen is that invite on Twitter.

Until then the more we speculate (and assuming nothing happens) the more people will complain BlackBerry can't meet deadlines.

I spoke to a friend at BlackBerry today and Cross Platform and 10.2 will be out next week. Z30 is November for the USA and "earlier in Canada "

Are you in the USA? If so, if you wait for the Z30 you will probably get 10.2 months earlier then you would if you had a Z10 (j/k....mostly)

Oh well in that case hopefully you will be able to get a Z30 very soon. Vivek just came back from Ibiza & said he's got some very busy weeks ahead of him. Who knows, maybe those busy weeks is getting ready for the Z30 launch (hopefully they surprise us & change it's name)

remember the part we play in this. we need to text all our friends that the updates available and link them directly to it. imagine how many more downloads this will have and how much traction this will get. bbm will become instantly popular and who knows what effect it might have on our beloved brand elsewhere.

LOL so what BB should'nt release anything because of Apple are going to.This weak ***** mentality I dont have time for.You would'nt last 5 minutes around me or where I grew up.Even if you are ****e at something the least is to play or do something other then bow out without having a go.

Quick reply destroys everything in IOS7.We dont have to worry about features.IOS only has us beat in apps.If it came down to OS comparison of UIX(user interface experience) 10.2 would win hands down.A smart phone with no file system no attachments capabilitys can realy be called smart.Just being on IOS forums people are underwhelmed.Its funny most of those users feature wants are what BBX is doing and turning into.

Its perfect time to strike and have BB in spotlight.This event goes from india,france,malaysia is what i read.Thats a bit much for just cross platform BBM.Hope its a triple attack Z30,10.2,xBBM.Based on the inventation poster and notes I dont think its releasing with basic BBM.Im thinking voice,video or a new feature getting thrown in the mix.Go BB.

I want to believe that BBRY wants to save itself, but am loosing hope, everything they have done in the last while does not support the theory that it wants to. At this point it feels like they want to satisfy investors, which may only be possible by disappearing.
