Skype I could understand not being there. Microsoft doesn't have to support their competition if they don't want to.

But Netflix... even if they don't want to develop and support the App, it would be beneficial to RIM to PAY them to do it. There is a handful of KEY apps that RIM needs to have on BB10 on release day, and Netflix is one of those apps. Because it is an App that some consumers might use in making a decision to buy a new device!

What if RIM already has paid them to maybe I don't know Keep Quiet on this until Launch? Or another scenario...maybe RIM has paid them, but they Still want to be stubborn jack***** and not develop it.

I wonder if the Netflix issue is less about the app and more about the 'added support costs'? Either way, RIM would probably have to write a cheque.

Sorry, that wasn't mention for you, it was meant for those that like to hook their tablet/phone to a TV while staying in a resort. I should have formatted better. But personally I leave the TV off when I stay at a hotel or resort.

Waerloo folks in the past publicly said that if Netflix wants to develop an app for BB10 that they would have developers on a plane the next day to help them.

Just saying. I think RIMM would rovide atleast 3 developers to help out. I think it could get done in 3 weeks.

It's blocked. Plus, it uses Silverlight, so it wouldn't work in the browser anyway.

with regards to Netflix playing on the BB10 browser, the Engadget review of the Z10 said that it was blocked. Personally, I am just waiting to read Kindle books on a native app.

it will be there eventually, once the Z10 sales are so great, that netflix will have no choice but to make an app for BB.
90% of the important apps are there at launch. the rest will follow.

BlackBerry 10 Instagram, Netflix apps: in talks with developers | BGR
    article:

"Say this for BlackBerry they seem to know they have an app problem and theyre working hard trying to fix it. A BlackBerry spokesperson has told AllThingsD that the company is in talks with both Instagram and Netflix (NFLX) to make mobile applications specifically for the BlackBerry 10 platform. However, the spokesperson also added that they could not confirm when those apps will make their way into the store, so BlackBerry fans may have to wait a while before they have access to two of the biggest apps in the mobile world. As we noted earlier, Instagrams absence on BlackBerry 10 is particularly glaring because RIM claims it has a strong partnership with Instagram owner Facebook (FB)."

hope it'll be on bb10 eventually since a lot of people seem to care

    personally? i couldn't care less...

From the feedback I get from everyone. Netflix seems to be popular here in the U. S. only so, they still have a whole month to come up with the app.

You may actually have a point here; we know that Netflix has expressed interest in BB10. The Instagram delay may well be related to timing of the US launch as well.
