not sure where to post this....

I bought a blackberry about a year ago, signed a two year deal with ATT/cingular. Upgraded my razor to the curve. My phone bill was crazy high last month, from work calls and I gave the bill to my boss. (work went through a years worth of roll over minutes in three months) A week later, I get a blackberry from work, not a curve but an 8830, slightly bigger w/o a camera. Now I have two phones. I told them it made more sense to just pay for my phone, I keep my number, dont need two phones, blah blah, no go. Now, I am trying to figure out if I can drop the blackberry service on my phone, put that sim back into the razor and give to my son, keeping that number active. Then unlock my curve and put the sprint sim in it. Shelve the 8830 for however long I'm still there. This makes the most sense to me, that is if I can do this. I am going to try to push for a sprint curve, because I do use my camera for work from time to time. I dont mind so much the new number, but this is a headache. can I do this, or is there something else I'm not considering? I've read some about call forwarding, but why keep the high (and unused) ATT bill? the sprint is unlimited everything.

as far as I know sprint doesn't use a SIM card because they are CDMA like verizon.

there's a sim in it. all my drivers' phones have sims too. tried to swap them, and the phones wouldn't work.

The only Sprint phones that use a sim cards are the Nextel (or hybrid) ones (iden) network. The 8330 does not use a sim card.

well sumbish, I took out the sim, and didn't matter. guess I'm stuck, unless I can finagle a sprint curve.

I still am going to try to get ~$75 from them. should be less than their unlimited w/ sprint. I don't like this phone, and would like to eventually get a bold.
