Anyone who uses the desktop BBM Channels Manager will notice a new feature beside the "add picture" button.

    "Add video"

When clicked, you're prompted to "Click here to start camera"

However, in my Safari browser on Mac, I get the error: "Unfortunately, this feature is not supported on your browser"

    I attached some pictures.

Sorry if this is adouble post. Didn't see it on the forums, or the News Page.

    Thanks all.

Channels isn't part of any leak. You get it officially through BackBerry Beta Zone.

I don't think it's an "add a video" feature. But rather "create a .gif" or moving photos feature.

Someone will need to try it with a browser that works. However since it says "open camera" I doubt it's a create .gif, since it's trying to access the webcam

It is not a video feature as stated previously...it is to create a "GIF" which is why many channels are already implementing GIF's into their Channels...

Although a video feature like Vine would be awesome...looping videos rather than just GIF would be great! Option! GIF and Video!

Many people are using it already on their channels. It will allow you to create a 3-second .gif/

I've had this for a while, there's even a post on my channel using it and yes, as mentioned it makes a .GIF. It'll work in Chrome. It even works in the BlackBerry 10 browser when set to desktop mode lol.

They are listening I've personally requested this from BBM team. Good to see it working its way into BBM Channels!
I also requested it.....Though this isn't video. It's a really cool way to make 3 second GIFs.....but I still also want video. I'm guessing by doing this they are able to greatly reduce the bandwidth used (GIF vs MP4)
