Does anyone know when Sprint will be getting a new version of the Curve?? Maybe the 8900 model?? It's time for me to upgrade phones from my current curve. I love everything about my curve, especially the small size. I don't really want to get a bigger Tour.

Or are does anyone know when Sprint will be getting any new BB???

I don't really think the size difference btwn the 8900 and Tour is noticeable..

    Different strokes, I guess..

This is all speculation: Curve 8930 CDMA >> Looking to be released sometime November possibly but will probably reach verizon before sprint.

Less likelier will be the Curve 8530 (Aries) which has already been established to be a GSM phone. But if this trackpad, lower end curve with a different name does come out it should be out sometime this month.

    Again. All speculation.

BTW, the Essex will probably be similar size to the current Tour.

    Curve dimensions: 4.2x2.4x0.6 inches
    Tour dimensions: 4.41 x 2.44 x 0.56 inches

I doubt you'd really notice an extra tenth of an inch here or there.

I think ur mixing a few things up.. 8530 Aries is NOT a gsm phone but CDMA. Its suppose to be the CDMA version of the 8520 Curve. An is this suppose to hit the market on Verizon this year. Your mixing up the 8930 with 8530 imo. Nothin anywhere about a 8930. So the lower end trackpad has a name already: 8530

The Essex will be Tour size but with trackpad and wifi. It is supposed to be released in May. check this:

As crazy as it sounds, you will notice the size difference. The curve is definitely smaller than the Tour. It's almost as if the numbers lie when talking about devices.
