I personally like the curve, the curve is a very popular choice, Ive heard mostly good things about the bold (or read) but not so many good things about the Storm. Keyboard is a factor too, the touch screen (storm) or qwerty keyboard (curves) or if you prefer the suretype method of pearls.
Never really got too thrilled with my iphone, touch screens are a pain for me, its hard to type on, and worse with long nails LOL

I love my curve. The only knowledge I have about a BB is my curve and two older models I owned. But I think all BB's are good you just have to research what you want.

So far after all of my research the Curve seems to be the most popular device right now. Probably because it's a tried and true device and the best priced device right now.IMHO

I like the bold but for some reason found the curve an easier device to use.

As long as it's RIM, I can't see you going wrong.

It all depends on your needs/wants.

I thought the size of the Bold would bother me until I purchased it.

I just went from an iphone to a bold and I like it. Iphone was better in some respects, but the bold has its advantages.

I would go into a store and play with the phones and see what you think too. Hopefully they'll have a working demo phone for you to try out.

The Bold has it all: 3G, WiFi, GPS, a fantastic screen, fast processor. The browser is passable but still struggles with Javascript lag. I wish I could afford a Bold, but my Curve 8300 is still going strong.

I used to own a (dinosaur) 7290 all because my Razr went off the deep end and the replacement took too long to get from the carrier so I went online and searched for an unlocked phone.

Months later, I decided to take a step up to the Pearl. The reason was that the 7290 was honestly a bit too wide for my hand. Even though the Curve was pretty much the skinnier version, I decided to go for the Pearl since it looked a little nicer with the chrome accents and better in black.

Now, I'm waiting for my contract to end and get the Bold (since it has the looks of the Curve and the Pearl).

I would do as some other reader suggested, go to the stores and consider things like the weight, width, keypad layout (notice the differences), the feel as it sits in your hand when you look at it, etc.

Best of luck with your descision and welcome to Crackberry!

I'm just really echoing what most other folks have already said. The Curve or the Bold would be my choice for you. I currently have the curve & I absolutely love it. Its just a great all around device. Often times you make a sacrifice with a phone, either the phone is wonderful but the apps suck, or vice versa. I love the fact that I don't have to pick up my PC for anything unless I want to AND my voice calls are great too!

If you want newer thr Bold is it. Bold isn't on Tmobile so I'll stick with my Curve!
