    I have a T-Mobile Black Berry Pearl.
I am looking to switch my sim card to a Verizon blackberry 8330.

When I go to install my sim card. I looks as if its not a possible match for the sim card.. and the spot I would assume the sim card might fit, is covered with a solid metal cover. Is there a way to remove that? Or are the 2 sim cards not compatable...

    Thank you!

I don't think the 8330 used a sim card. It is a CDMA phone. I think you are looking at the micro sd card slot. I am not sure that phone will work with T-mobile, but I maybe wrong.

Not going to work. 8330 is a CDMA phone. Not going to accept a SIM card which is used on GSM networks.

Yeah, in order for what you want to happen to work you'll have to get an unlocked world phone, such as the 8830, 9630, 9650, or 9930. The 8830 is a CDMA device only, no GSM radio. The little metal flap you're talking about is for the Micro SD card slot. There is no SIM slot on the 8330.
