Idk if this has been discovered yet but I've jus figured a new screen lock method for OS 5.0. Click ALT then the ENTER arrow from your home screen.
Just thought I'd throw it out there for people who havent notices this yet :)

Idk I was just clicking random combos on my Bold 9000 and I came across that. Never tried it before till now so i'm not sure it would work for other models also.

Always use the left soft key myself. Prefer standby mode to lock. Biggest advantage is my pocket won't be dialing 911 ever! Interesting though.

This has been an option for ages and I always used it on my 8300 and my 9000 before moving to the 9700.
However in order to do it make sure alt+enter isn't set as the language change shortcut

It worked for me on 8900 running 4.6
