Not necessarily. The 9700 works better with BBOS 5 then 6. It just doesn't have the ram for the increased graphics.

Yes and the up to date tech she's hinting at here is the new iPhone. Not any of the new BB10 lineup. Which would be more appropriate considering she's unhappy with her legacy BlackBerry.

Exactly. BlackBerry should be going to the company she works for, and give them a BES10, and a case of BB10 phones for employees, especially since it is a media company and can do this sort of damage. They need to kill off BBOS devices ASAP because they tarnish the image every day they are used.

This is nothing new. Older BlackBerry has been getting compared to everything new all the time and I get it at work. I tell people I have a BlackBerry and next thing I hear, "that piece of crap" they don't want to hear that it's a Z30, the best OS out there. People just don't care unless there's an apple on it.

Trust me when I got the Z10 in white and told people I switched to an iPhone. I thought the world stopped moving. All I heard was, "I can't believe you finally did it" I replied, "F that I will never in my life would I get an Apple anything "
And that was the reason I got the z10 on white. First thing everyone asked, "is that an iPhone "

It was definitely entertaining. Some people here on CB don't like it when anyone says anything negative about BlackBerry, even if they say that same thing about other platforms. As soon as anyone doesn't say BlackBerry is the best they get their panties in a bunch and don't pay attention to what the author is really saying.

She was poking fun at the National Post. If people weren't so over protective of BlackBerry they would realize that, and see the humor.

Lol, why should her employers upgrade her phone if that phone still does the job, most offices are still using Windows XP, don't see them ever in a rush to upgrade OSs or computers to the latest tech.
