Seeing the sales of iPhone 6 vs 6+ I think the next BlackBerry full touch should be between 4.7 to 5 inches in size only and overall smaller than the Z30 and better balanced. A true one handed Z10 replacement.

IMO the IP6, note 4 and the nexus 6 are too large for most of the market.

What do you guys think?

I think 4.7 - 5 is a great size. 5 inches is fine, I have a Galaxy S5, but something more manageable with one hand.

So even if they could still minimize the dimensions with a 5 inch screen phone. I can do that.

Z30 size screen would suit me, with as little wasted space around it as possible. 16:9 photos should fill it please. Maybe with a little spare space for touch command inputs (I mean buttons virtual or otherways).

They should do both a 6 inch phone and a basic 5 inch phone. The venture in the phablet market should be taken with caution like they did with the passport. The extra space on the 6 inch phone will give BlackBerry more room for active frames to look kinda like they do on the passport. I don't even scroll to the next set of active frames so everything on one page would be awesome. I think they can fit a lot more of the overflow menu on to the bottom like the passport.

Or keep it to 5 inches and make the bezel's and overall phone as small as possible.

I think the iphone 6 with its 4.7 inch screen and super slim profile is ideal for 1 handed use. Its the only thing I like about the iphone 6.

Before BB decides to do another touch ... it should heavily consider:
Thinner bevel, license new touch screen technologies over the long haul -
Enable when cracked the SCREEN and touch gestures/tap actions WORK!

I agree that the Z10 is a very comfortable size but it could be thinner as well.

I personally think that if it were possible to make the z10 thinner, keep the thickness and put in a higher capacity battery.

Agreed. It's either 16:9 or 1:1. Too much variation creates fragmentation.

4.5-5inch 16:9 screen but with the smallest, lightest, thinnest bezel and body possible (without forsaking battery capacity) seems to be the summary of this thread.

But in all honesty I think BlackBerry will be going for 5.5inch and above as it seems like the trend right now. It's gonna be 2 handed phones will the way now.

I'm telling you a 6 inch phone would be best! They just have to make small bezels and make it slight thin but keep a big battery!! Then make a 5 inch phone with small bezels kinda like the nexus 5. Just needs a better battery.
