3. New accessibility options
4. Auto HDR (in iPhone 5s)
5. New call options: little call animation, add new contact button
6. Animations are slightly faster
7. Keyboard is brighter, keys are bolder
8. Slightly different icons: a different shade of... green


Update: I mean all above features are just gimmick non of them is useful except Auto HDR...

I'd say I would like it on BB10, but HDR is so painfully slow that you'd never be able to just snap a quick shot.

You do realize that most OS's including BB10 have animations and that they do make the experience more pleasant? That's why they're there. Might not be a selling point but they do make a difference.

Except the keyboard change was likely made for usability reasons, and the term "useless" is subjective. Anyone who thought the keyboard was difficult to use in bright light might find the update particularly useful. It all depends on the user. As a comparison, many users on this forum don't feel apps are important for BB10. To those people, the presence of Android compatibility might be considered useless, even as others might find it particularly important.

At the same time, in light of Apple's release schedule, it's silly to focus on the details of this update. There's a new iOS version every year, and it's that annual revision that sees the significant updates.

Good point. Certainly pushing out an update and making it available to all compatible devices on day one is an absolute weakness. Other noted weaknesses include Microsoft's 90% PC marketshare, BBRY's security and Android's diversity.

I'll defend any company that's not being treated fairly, whether it's Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung or BBRY. If that's a problem, you know what to do.
