Very cool! Looks like there's going to be a bit of a learning curve, though!
beautiful, I wants one!
Beautiful!
Loving this. Can't wait.
Awesome!!!!!
A bit of a learning curve, yes. But I can also see it being like with the Playbook, in that I keep trying to swipe all other devices and it then pi$$es me off when nothing happens.
Si.
Wow! That U/I looks great. The swipe gestures and "Flow" are so much better than what is on the market today.
So what's that device, a Dev Alpha2, the new BB10? It doesn't look like anything that I've seen so far.
+1000 for the unlock screen...awesome
Cool. Hours before BB Jam. hahaha. I can see it being very efficient and fast once I get used to it.
This is it.
I need this phone like yesterday...... Please Q1 2013 Come now!
Very Cool, hope they have one with qwerty as well !
Looks great!
Still not crazy about the icons... they look pretty bland.
I notice the guy isn't doing anything to hide the serial number etched into the glass... Hmmm.
(Edit: Whoops, it was a Dev Alpha device)
Oh my goodness I want this so bad. It looks amazing and that isn't even the final build.
That just looks good nice demo looks very smooth.
At the 10 second mark of the video, he swipes to the next homescreen. One of the icons is the "Setup" folder. Notice the "Cloud" icon in the top right corner of the setup folder?!
Looks nice and smooth. Still not digging the circa 2001 homescreen look, but some of the apps look really nice, especially that contacts app.
Looks sweet. Hurry up qwerty bb10.
Calendar also says "March" as the month on top... then 31 as the day (but this could be like the PlayBook and not have a dynamic icon for the day)... the fact that it says "March" though is a little weird.
EDIT: when he opens up setting it says September 24... must just be the icon that is messed up
Some things that I noticed:
Twitter, Facebook and linkedIn are there.. (at least the icons :)!!) and at 0:09 in the "folder" apps you can see the dropbox icon... looks promising!!
Also when BBM is minimized into the live tile you can see how there are additional functions offered: "Change display picture"
At 1:10 it is interesting the function "rotation lock". I wonder how it works!!
Looking forward to play with BB10 as soon as it is released!!!
Rotation lock is basically if you want to see a site or document landscape or portrait. Like on the playbook.
There's some jerkiness when the apps are minimzed (BBM and appworld). And...(hate to say it :() but I'm still not a fan of the UI elements - they look a little old-school-Linux to me. Or, kinda like something from Android 2.x...
The good thing is that the icons can be updated to a better look at any point. The overall flow is more difficult to change, and that part of the OS looks GREAT!
Looks like the video is now private only. Was the video pulled? Anyone record it or have a cache link?
^ WHS...what happened to the video?
