Hi..I just got the blackberry curve and I cannot figure out how to store and save documents on to the Blackberry. I am assuming it is possible..or maybe it isn't? Does anyone have the answer. Thanks.

If you upgrade to OS 4.5 you'll get free DocsToGo which will allow you to save and edit various Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files. An upgrade to the premium version will allow you to create these types of files directly on your phone.

I don't think the version of DocToGo that comes with v4.5 allows you to edit Excel files. I wish it did. From what I can see only Word & PowerPoint.

So as of now I cannot even save documents? I am not really interested in editing...just saving them to the device.

You have to do the free upgrade to get it.

Yes you can save them to the device without DocsToGo but there is absolutely no way to view them outside of an email.

So either I purchase docstogo or I just save the entire email?

Or upgrade your OS and use the free version of DocsToGo.

Docs to Go requires OS 4.5 or higher. Not an option at lower OS versions.

Is OS 4.5 approved for Verizon Curve?

It's not been released by Verizon if that's what you're asking. It works just fine though.
