hey just found this on the U.S. patent site and i'm guessing it is going to be a new phone for cingular wireless since they are the assingne for the patent. i was originally looking for blackberry patents and came across this thought it was cool.

pics are down but if you click full text the description says its a qwerty slider phone like the touch pro...didnt read to much so i didnt see if it was touch screen as well

i think the images are .tif file types, which the browsers won't display, and some quicktime configurations will. If you view the source of the page, you can find the direct url of the image, copy and paste it into your browser url, and it might ask you to save or open. save.

at least, that's how i was able to view one.

i find it odd that the patent is for Cingular wireless considering they don't exist anymore.... that was he whole SBC bought cingular after Cingular bought att wireless thing.... so is this an actual patent for ATT??
