You mean "another" good quality spec BB10 phone as Passport SE and OG is still nice in 2016 with its 801 snap dragon and 3 gigs of ram running on BB10 is even more lovely!

BB10 is not compatible with the chipsets used in the Priv and DTEK

I truly agree...priv with os 10 is definitely a killer. Upgrade on passport will also be sweet..all with higher specs and batt life

I don't see any reason for new BlackBerry 10 device. They stop improving os and some important app leaving support at the end of this year.

There are two groups one long time BlackBerry loyalists using BlackBerry and then the newbie entrants with android eco or bb10. So if BlackBerry is successful in getting goog playstore on the bb10 platform and introduce great looking handset with great hardware and camera using flashy names for its tech( like apple) it would create a lot of curiosity among people which would be a segment of buyers who are prospective ones fed up with android and IOS so the battle is half won!

Final segment of sales would be assured purchases from loyalists and BlackBerry android customers.

So I feel BlackBerry has a bright chance if they strategies accordingly, provided they also market it too good!!

They can't even release 10.3.3, BlackBerry only cares for Android development now. Company will still take your money for BB10 devices but they're not hiding their intentions.
