That's a good question? I don't either really. But my feeling has always been such that actual phone calls use minimal battery and I only base that on my personal use during a long call. At the extreme I've been on an hr long call with no real change in battery status, at least nothing that I thought odd. The only thing I've really seen eat up this battery is some android games, like Monument Valley. 30 mins on that game and went from 80% down to 50%. But it's kind of known that native apps give the best results.
