Hi guys,

I'm on Etisalat (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and my download speed is appalling. I see people posting screen shots and they are getting 200kb/s+, but no matter what site im using or where i'm downloading from, I get 12kb/s MAX. 3G or 2G, doesn't matter.

So I want to know, is this because my provider is limiting it or what, is there any way to get 'faster then dailup' speed on my blackberry cause this is NOT cool.

did u call Etisalat and ask whats going on whether its a connection issue or a limitation from their part?

nope i haven't contacted Etisalat. If there is a limitation of connection issue, is it possible for them to remove it?

Its been like this since ive gotten my BB service (over a year ago). It's never been above 15 and a few people I know have the same speeds, I have a feeling its Etisalat purposely limiting people's connections.
