    Hi,

    I have a backup of whatsapp message from my old bbq10 phone , i like to retrieve the messages in that database for phone numbers i need.
    All i got is messagestore.db.crypt , i have no key file or any other files . Is it possible to retrieve these messages ?
    I have the old bb but not the sim card anymore .
    Any help ?

    I do not know of a way to merge an older database into a newer existing one, but if you were going to move your database to another device that has a fresh install of Whatsapp on it, do this:
