I need a new hosting provider for my domain.

With my current one messages take much too long to get to my blackberry through BIS.

Any recommendations?

gmail is the only one that I know of that is instantaneous. otherwise you gotta wait the 15 minutes. however, I use namecheap for all of my domains except the windows one.

If you're looking for BES through managed Exchange I've used Intermedia and Rackspace. I ended up transferring 2 domains to Rackspace recently and couldn't be happier with their service. They are a little bit pricier than some others, but you get what you pay for (ie: open a trouble ticket at 1am and you get your first response by 1:05). Easy BB integration.

What are you looking for in your host? BES? Just simple domain/mail server? I may be able to assist you. I am currently setup to host files as an FTP and getting ready to offer full domain hosting. Let me know if there is any assistance I can offer.

I need a new hosting provider for my domain.

I used to run my own Linux based mail server but I got tired of patching and keeping things up to date, especially with other people depending on it. So I switched it over to Google hosted mail. The Standard Edition of Google apps is free, might want to give it a shot. I've had pretty good luck with them in the 3-4 yrs or so I've used it.

Well, I'd post the URL but I don't have enough posts yet Google for Google Apps Standard Edition and I think it's the first hit.

Just looking for something that doesn't take 15 min to get a message. I have a gmail account on my BB too and that is instantaneous so maybe moving to google apps is the answer.

BES is already setup on my device for work. What I have trouble with is the BIS account that I have on here as well...

Google Apps is the best way to go. I have all of my domains hosted there, even just my personal ones. It makes it a lot easier and doesn't cost anything.

I don't know about your BIS, but Sprint's BIS is fast. When I first got my blackberry, I would send an e-mail to all of the e-mail accounts that are registered on the BIS. Gmail, my domain e-mail, Yahoo, and Hotmail are all on my blackberry. At first, they all came within seconds of being received. Now, they all still come instantaneously except for Hotmail, which now is delayed a few minutes.

I just sent an e-mail to my yahoo account. It was already on my blackberry by the time I turned around to pick up my blackberry.
