    my blackberry is freezing after trying to format the media card can anyone help? I just bought and it worked fine when I first put it in but now is telling to format and is freezing

    Try starting up the device without the media card in the device. Then after the device is fully started, reinsert the card and attempt the format.

    I have tried doing both. starting the device without the card and formatting from computer but neither work. I purchased the card at walmart.

    If you have the receipt, they should still be able to exchange/refund you for it. It's not like they are going to resell it anyway.
