So I upgraded from the G1 touch phone with wifi and 3G to the 8900 Curve specifically for the ability of using the wifi network at my place of employement to make calls over, because Tmobile has absolutely no service in key areas of the the teaching hospital.

Then when I go to install the wifi, It is requesting a CA certificate. Of course the one that the veterinary teaching hospital uses, is a private certificate not a public like the rest of the university and the certificate is not loaded on the phone.

I work out getting the certificate on the phone, but it is placed in the "other" category, it is secure and trusted, but I can't get it in the drop down CA certificate on the wifi PEAP page.

Can anyone please please help me? The IT dept. at the school has been trying, but I haven't been able to bring my computer in with the desktop manager in for them to connect to and work with.

Thanks in advance for any help
