I have just become in charge of bringing new communication technologies to a school program. Many of the students have Blackberries (mostly Curve 8300) and I just need to know one or two things about the capabilities of Blackberry.

    1. Does the Curve display full HTML webpages or is it a crippled page? If crippled, can all link on the website still be accessed?

    2. Can the Curve open up microsoft office files on the web browser such as Word documents?

Please reply. It means a lot if you help out.

    1) Yes, BB browser on OS 4.5 is full HTML.

As mentioned above, with OS 4.5 and Documents to Go, Word and Excel files can be viewed.

Other than Flash content, the BlackBerry (with the help of various 3rd party apps) can do just about any thing a laptop can do.
