    well i just updated my blackberry curve 8310 to OS 4.5 and i was wondering is there a way to change back the sound to the old OS? Like 4.5 isn't as loud as my old o.s. thankss.

    You need to 1st, uninstall the current OS and then reinstall the
    OS you want to go back to (unless you never uninstalled it.)

    Once the old OS is back on your PC, open Desktop Manager and it
    will prompt you to downgrade. If it does do that automatically
    click the Application Loader to trigger the downgrade.

    Choose your phone model from the dropdown and click next.
    Scroll down past the 4.5 versions and download the file with this heading:

    BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.312 (Multilanguage)

    Package Version: 4.2.2.312
    Consisting of:

    * Applications: 4.2.2.170
    * Software Platform: 2.5.0.30
    * File name: 8310M_PBr4.2.2_rel312_PL2.5.0.30_A4.2.2.170_AT&T.e xe
    * File size: 78.56MB

    Once the d/load is complete, double click the .exe file to install the OS

    And one more thing. Maybe you should try installing the official
    AT&T release. I'd hate to think up you going that far back if
    you don't need to.
