Is there a free text mssg.ing app that works on Android and 9810?

Not sure about Blackberry, but when I had my android I had an app called "TextFree"
It lets you get your own number and everything.
I know iPhone still has it. Searched for it on my tablet & it didn't come up in the Android Market.
This was just on the crackberry main page.

UpDate: My wife's loaded quickly, mine seems to be in an eternal loop saying, "Getting ready for first use..." , pulled battery and still getting ready for first use,,,, I'll let it run 5 minutes before I delete it and try a reinstall, before giving up on it.
UpDate2: After 15 minutes my wifes text came through at the same time Viber message that it cannot sync with my phone contacts. So I'll keep trying, its a beta?
UpDate3: Just didn't work between my BB and wifes Android, I tryed Google - 'Talk' and it worked right away and was instant.
Yeah it said it was still in beta stages. You can give google voice a try, but not sure how that works since I don't use it.
