The green check? Means it was successfully sent. Not necessarily delivered or read.

Check you app permissions in, settings / security and privacy /permissions

It only means the message is delivered ,not read

Yeah, texting can give delivered status depending on your settings, the other person's settings, and both your carriers.

Go to settings and text message in the hub, and there is a switch for confirm delivery.

As you can see, one bbm D icon and one text D icon.

As far as I can see, it's only in mms mode, not text mode, and, yes, it's delivered.

You can change that in the HUB settings. It's been there since the nineties on Nokias, had it on my old 7110...

It's just the SMS delivered notification, a normal SMS "delivered receipt". Widely used in Continental Europe apparently where you don't get charged (afaik) for the receipt, but under-utilized in the Anglo-Saxon sphere, you tend to get charged another text for the delivery receipt. (This is no longer an issue with unlimited TXT/SMS/MMS plans...)

Actually, it DOESN'T work for me when I send an mms ironically enough.

It's an OPTION you can turn on and off like it should be.

Hmm well I'm on Verizon here in the states and it only works when I text other verizon handsets. MMS always works
