Android has Google Drive; WP has SkyDrive; iOS has iCloud, or whatever they call it. I think it's important for BB10 to have a "native" cloud service, and I'm wondering if Box.net is going to be their partner for that. I was noticing its conspicuous presence in this article, and there's also the fact that Box has recently been upgrading their services. BB10 App World should offer the user other cloud options, but I think Box would be a good partner for a baked-in service. Just wondering.

Wouldn't be a bad choice. But I think for something like cloud service, it should be a 1st party solution (like all their competitors have) and not a 3rd party partner.

Are we forgetting Newbay as their native cloud offering? I'm sure that if any native cloud offering comes from RIM that it would be from that team right?

Ubizmo, there's more talk about BB10 cloud options in the BB10 forums. I like Box but their BB app/mobile interface would have to be improved significantly to be of real value and function.

Box.net makes sense considering it comes on the Playbook. I don't know of it still does, but it came with 50GB free.
