Funny, you seemed to miss the real point. The cellphone antennae actually affected the rat's brains. Good, bad, or indifferent, it suggests that something is actually happening with those EM waves.
I don't know which idea is more moronic, but like with most scientifc things it really helps that we pay people to do real scientific studies. Like Tonis said, asbestosis was a moronic idea at one time. Black lung (coal miners) was a moronic idea, heck the earth being round was a moronic idea.
