my video player will not fast forward or rewind anymore

I have a 8330 Curve v4.5.0.138 Media Version 1.1

The video player was working fine - playing videos, fast forwarding and rewinding but, suddenly the FF and RW no longer work:confused:.

I have tried restarting the blackberry, pulling the battery, re-updating my software, everything I can think of without luck. The time bar does appear when i tap the screen but, it will not respond to the track ball motions. I've tried different videos - same problem. However, the music player rewind and fast forward still works fine.

Can someone tell me what I can do to resolve this annoying problem?

Or is there another media player that works better out there that you can recommend?

Mine quit working too. Can't fast forward through music files stored on my media card. Seems to work on files stored on device memory though... Any solutions????
