Since updating to 10.2.1 I was interested to see what the end battery life would be like once settled. I use my phone for work, I email, bbm and call. Plus check stocks, facebook and take a few photos. Opened device manager to a nice surprise.

I agree with you, but do not trust the noted "remaining time"... it is calculated by the device the way you used it until that moment... I noticed that the Airplane mode hardly uses Battery, say 1% per hour, so in airplane mode, the device might function for 100 hours... When idle, radios on, about 5% per hour. Surfing the web, playing games drains it faster... But the phone survives the day normally! Cheers.

just installed .2102 through sachesi and my battery is taking a beating the last two days. I never usually have to charge during the day at all but the last two days I've had to plug in multiple times and the usage really isn't much.

This was also the first time I upgraded to 10.2 in general. I was still stuck with Verizon's update-less service and I really want all the new features but not at the expense of my usually completely dependable battery.

How long did it take your OS to settle? (Even though that's a term made up here on crackberry as an excuse for poor battery life) I'm curious to know the settle time on this one.

I updated the same day voda UK released, I have noticed super batter last 4-5 days.
