The UK is a strange place when it comes to the weather.

It seems as though the four seasons have now become two seasons and in more recent years one.

The misery this has caused to its inhabitants, is apparent on every morning of every weekday commute to work, as the transport network is consumed by tired, stressed, grey and blue faces.

Some say the answer is to take a well deserved holiday.

" Go abroad, " " Catch yourself some rays "
" Disconnect from the matrix, " " Leave the slabs at home "

2007 was my last official holiday, I'm starting to take note.

In June 2014, a new weather forecaster named John Chen, predicted a break in the clouds. He claimed that during the month of September, a string of events known as the "BlackBerry Cycle" would bring about the creation of a unique entity, that would change the way we think about communication and innovation. This new ' Thing ' does not have to power to actually change the weather patterns around the world but in terms of the affect it will have on peoples perception and good will towards the " Climate of Change, " this announcement has some real fundamental forces behind it.

That entity has been named, the BlackBerry " Passpost."

The best part of this announcement, is that the Passport will be coming to me, right here, in the UK, FIRST.

No need for me to renew my real Passport and fly off to a sunny destination to have that piece of magic during my summer break, I can sit back, relax and have that ray of sunshine come right to my eager hands on launch day and be proud to be a part of a new beginning.

Who's getting their BlackBerry Passport stamped at launch?

Quite an allegorical post well done.
Sadly the BlackBerry Passport won't be shedding any golden sunbeams in my direction as it does not pique my interest at all even though it is a BlackBerry device. Don't want to go back to any physical keyboard device, and the strange aspect ratio of the screen won't suit for me.

    Careful! Z10....er..... BlackDroid in action!

I'm not also a fan of physical keyboards, but I'll go with the Q10 instead of the Passport, but that's just me.

I enjoyed your post, for me I like the looks of the Classic.
So I might go duel with the 20 and the 30.

We could be in for some interesting marketing from the Passport.

At least we have some confidence that the BlackBerry passport will arrive on time.
