I just got new Z10 and it can not connect to Blackberry Link. I followed instructions to restore to factory settings but still the same, Blackberry link doesn't recognize that phone is plugged in my PC for backup. Anyone with solution please??

Make sure all RIM and Blackberry processes are Allowed to pass through your firewall. Mine were blocked and wouldnt work. As soon as I allowed them, everything is fine!

Here is what I did to resolve BB Link issues on my W8/64 machine:

1. Find a "BlackBerry Device" driver that is "not working properly" (yellow marked) in Windows 8 Device Manager and "uninstall" it.
2. Keep the Device Manager open. When you connect your Z10, the "BlackBerry Device" driver should install correctly.
3. BB Link will now work properly (I can backup/restore device data now).

Had the same problem. I am running Kapersky on a Windows 7 64 bit; disabled it and Blackberry Link recognized the device and synched fine.

BlackBerry needs to provide clear, detailed and complete step-by-step instructions. Better yet BlackBerry should enhance BlackBerry Protect to be able to perform backup and recovery of BlackBerry 10 smartphones.

Blackberry Link randomly doesn't work for some reason. When it wouldn't detect my phone the other night I rebooted my computer and it worked like a charm. This was suggested in another forum and did help me! BB link then found my phone instantly.

My blackberryz10 crash while doing the security whipe , now it cant connect to my laptop to do the software degrade ..................what will i do ?????????????????? help!!!!
