for the first few weeks that I had my 8830, I had the typical envelope message icon in my list of icons, and thus had the nifty feature that would indicate over my main icons for SMS and two synched email accounts, how many new messages I had in each. Now I can't tell if I have new messages in anything by just looking at the screen. I called Verizon and was told that the 8830 does not have that feature, and rather than try o make the guy believe me, (impossible) I thought I'd ask here....what do I do???? thanks!
