    my friends curves arent like this.

    is this bc i havent put my SIM card in yet?

    and also, any way to change how everything looks? the "bland" blue isn't appealing.

    Highlight any icon, hit the menu key and choose Hide. When you've hidden all the ones you don't want to see hit the menu key again and choose Show All.

    install a Zen theme. you are probably just on a standard icon theme.

    EDIT: found it in Options. Thanks, the ZEN one was the one I was referring to.
