The one that started it all the RIM 850 followed by RIM 857, BlackBerry 7290, 7130, 7100t, 8700, 8800, 8310, 9000, 8230, 8110, 9550, 9330, 9670, 9900, PlayBook, Z10, Q10 and of course a Passport. Not pictured is my Z30 which my oldest son stole and made it his own (like father like son).

Needless to say I've been a BlackBerry/RIM advocate/user for a LONG time. Yes I've ventured away from them many, many times (the camera on the 9900 was the catalyst) but I always returned to what works best for ME.

I still remember how giddy I was being able to check email on my 850.... remember folks.... Apple may have created the current App Ecosystem we all know and love now, but without RIM/BlackBerry we'd never have the "Mobile Email" "Mobile Messaging" that NO ONE can live without now.

Long story short, I know I'm not alone here. Have old BlackBerries hiding or laying around somewhere? Gather them up, let them see light again and take a picture.

What's YOUR time line look like?

Wow! I started with Torch, Z10, PlayBook, z30, q10. I believe I had the Torch the longest

Passport will come at some point. Not on the list of corporate phones yet!

That is awesome. Don't have many of mine left, my first was the blueberry, which is great to see next to a passport! It looks almost the same size overall but I never had anyone tell me what a big a$$ phone I had back then. I really loved that phone. I upgraded every new phone sprint offered from BlackBerry thru the years up to the Q10, then dumped sprint for the passport. I thought I may have had a black one before the blue? Was Nextel then with 2way button. And that nitemare of a 7100! Ugh what a pos that was. Anyway awesome pic and storyline. Thanks for sharing...

My preference is the Z30 which is my main phone. Q10 is great for emails because of the keyboard but I do find the screen too small

My favorite BlackBerry was my 7100i on Nextel, I traveled around the world with that device and it never let me down. It also had the built in walkie-talkie feature on Nextel which was a great addition. I could really fly through the menus with the trackwheel button on the side of the device, god I miss that phone.

Nice collection! My BlackBerry craze all started when I got my 8900. After that I got the following:

    9000
    9700
    9800
    9780
    9810
    9860
    9900
    Z10
    Q10
    Z30
    and now the Classic.

Out of all those devices, I only have my 8900. Kind of wish I would have hung onto all of them now!

Funny thing thinking back - all the bb's were daily drivers for at least 6 months each. Only the droid incredible and galaxy s3 were in my pocket for at least that long. All the other iphones and androids were either returned or sold quickly after purchase.

Thank you. Just ordered the Classic today, for my birthday. I was quite teary eyed when I sold my 9900 to help finance my Z10. Got $200 for it, so not too bad. I still use the Playbook every so often. Tough tablet for sure.

Well, mine started with a 8700, 8300, 8310, Freakin Pearl, 9000, 9700, 9800, 9810, Z10, Q10, Z30, Playbook + 5 separate for work- 77xx, 8300, 8310, 8320, and another older model with a cracked screen. Wife started using BlackBerries starting with the 8310 thru the Z30. The rule is if I update.....she updates as well. LOL. Keeps the peace. Unlike me, BlackBerries are all she has ever used.
