Have been a major blackberry fan. My idealogy was/is:

Apple - Over-priced, limited
Android - It's like a toy, and its communication functionality isn't as good as BB. It also doesn't have qwerty.
Windows - Literally offers nothing better than the competition that I can see, only worse.

Transitioned from 9790 to Nexus 5 and to be honest it wasn't painful, it's fine. Seems I got on board with android just at the right time for me personally and anyone who likes professional phones like BB. 4.4 is clean and has a black/grey/white theme, communication is very good with a well polished email app. It's 1080p IPS screen 5" which is brilliant, the big screen makes touchscreen typing easy and less fiddly. I dont really see much of a difference between my bold and N5 practically. The price was great. Most of all I don't have to sit in worry that my OS will drop support at any moment like BBRY. And there's no app gap, I'm in the major league now.

I only tested BB10 for a short time but if you're stuck between BB10 and another phone just go for the N5. It's the best phone on the market and the price is incredible, the only downsides which are more like neutrals are the camera is 8MP but has OIS and good software so expect photos to simply be "Good" rather than amazing (it's a phone anyway), the speakers don't compare to something like the HTC One but I use earphones anyway, and the build is not premium metal like a One or iPhone, but it's in no way tacky or cheap. It's just fine.

I dont remember my old account from 2012. I'm not some ******* android preacher, I'm just being honest about the situation. I first intended to get a Q10 and if the company wasn't in the sh*tter I would have got one no questions asked.

Why would you care about the company? Do you rely on Google or LG to support your nexus 5?

Also, what email application is polished on android? Is it Email or Gmail app?

Enjoy your N5. Not a bad phone at all, but I think I will stick it out with BB a little longer. Things are just getting interesting and I like what I've seen from Chen. Besides, my Z10 gives me all a need and then some. My next swap is for a Z30.
