I have lost my charger to my blackberry 8300 and was wondering if I could use a Motorola W377 charger .....
Input:100-240v~50/60Hz 0.2A
output:5.3v 650mA
would it be safe to use or would it hurt the battery

You are safe. The power management of USB devices is defined in the original spec.
