Curve 83xx series hands down! I see these everywhere in heavy use. 9 times outta 10 when I see someone using a BB, it's a curve 83xx series. I personally believe that it will be BB's first official classic model. I think these devices will continue to be in heavy use for years to come.

Pretty much, especially since its an low end/entry level device with carriers offering them for free on a two year contract or $29 through 3rd party shops.

True however, most all devices can be gotten for little or nothing after being out on the market for years. The 83xx series is still a good product which keep most users satisified. If it wasn't, you wouldn't see as many after being heavily used if it wasnt a good product.
This has me thinking (always a dicey proposition at best ), which
is the SINGLE best selling device. Not by group (81xx, 83xx,
etc) but the ONE top selling individual Blackberry.
Apparently the Pearl was the most successful launch ever, that is according to a RIM press release. Not sure about the single best specific model though.
The 83XX is most seen. It has to be a good device cause they upgraded and made a Curve 8900 which I hear is the greatest Berry on market now, my carrier does not offer it yet.

I love the Curve so much, I had the device twice: my first 8330 I gave to my mom and my 2nd I sold to a friend. None of them have complaints and have had no trouble at all. The Curve devices were the first BBs for them.
I just bought another Curve 8330, this time it's for my Dad's first BB. And when my other lines on my account are available for upgrade, my bro and sis-in-law are also getting the Curve.
I'm excited to have my whole family on BlackBerry devices! And reliable ones, at that.
As for me, I had to move on to other BB devices. But I still miss the good 'ol trusty 83xx Curve.
8330's are workhorses...there are newer devices, but these are everywhere.
I would say 8830 is a close second.
I agree with that statement as well, the 8330's are workhorses, the 8320's are good devices too, but the lack of memory, 64mb(8320) Vs. 96mb(8330) created issues for some, especially those with multiple applications...

True...I had to chose between the curve or the storm, with the Tour 3 weeks away. Called up my brother and said I need a reliable berry...he said curve is best he ever had so I chose that for 5.00 from Verizon....
