So I have 9930 on Verizon

it now has a "Mobile Hotspot" feature

I'm concerned if I use it - will Verizon bill me separately for it?

    how will they know?

    thank you...

Yes they will know because you need to activate it before it will even work.

It's my understanding that only US carriers charge extra. So for you guys either hotspot or tethering should be free.

After you use it, you will be redirected to a sign up page. I pay Verizon 20$/month for 2GB, even though my data plan is unlimited and can use bridge for free. I rather pay because bridge is slow and sucks when trying to watch video.

yea you will be prompted to log in most likely. it wont work till you do. this will require you to sign up for it beforehand. btw, posting sentences the way you did in the OP is kind of annoying.
