    all,

i have been interested in mobile banking and was curious how safe it *really* is. who uses it, what programs, have you had any trouble, etc.

    share your thoughts here!

    thanks!

i've been using Bank Of America Mobile for about 3 years now and have had no issues! i love it. i can pay bills, check balances, transfer funds and see my detailed transactions.

i have the BOA launcher on my home screen.

If you have Chase, you can set it up where you send a message to the five digit code and you can get your balances and last transactions.

    It's pretty convenient actually.

actually, with winmo your making a direct https connection to the bank.

with blackberry your making the connection through BIS-B or MDS-CS proxies.

So is it really that secure? or more like pseudo secure like when you use opera mini or skyfire and they proxy in the middle.

you are using a proxy with blackberry, so idk.

Mobile banking uses an encrypted, VPN-like connection. It's very secure.

the sites are just mobile sites that the bank itself offers.

there are launchers available for most of them.
