It looks like typing on this would be cumbersome having the extra screen on one side.

Thankfully, there is no shortage of cheap products.

Microsoft products are generally aimed at professionals who can afford them, like Apple's.

You are correct. I had Microsoft products in the past and paid full retail price. No regrets. I never go the carrier route...pay cash and write off as a business expense. If Motorola new Razer phone is going for $1,500 USD. I would guess the Duo will fall between $1,500 to $2,000.

Id be willing to pay if I knew there was a firm commitment for OS updates and monthly security updates that go beyond 2 or 3 years.

Microsoft did a great job updating my Windows phone. They have the financial resources to do it...

But is it very durable? Can it withstand being dropped down stairs or off a balcony during an intoxicated business party?

    Questions... oh yes.
