Sorry. I won't pretend I know the answer. But you can try to test your device yourself with SD Card tester to see the speed of various cards you own...

FYI, I'm not sure if this will work on the Passport with 10.3.x. I have a T-Mobile Z10 and a Q10. Both unlocked and running their official Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2228. It always worked on my Z but sometimes doesn't want to open on my Q. It's a port, but seems to calculate properly.

Agreed & thanks. The question was purposed for not going overboard on the fastest card available if it surpasses the hardware limits. I ordered the Samsung 64GB Pro card. I have a SanDisk Ultra 128 GB & 64 GB to generate some comparison data.

I understand. I did not do an extensive search, but the search that I did prior to posting did not provide any information regarding read/write speeds for those devices. Not even in the KB. I would say unless BlackBerry posts this information somewhere readily accessible, the only way to find out is to test various cards of various increasing speeds within the device to see what would be the actual limits.

Sorry, I couldn't find that info for you. Maybe your own search result may find something? IDK.
