I have an 8330. My brother-in-law said that I could watch videos on youtube and stuff if I got a micro SD card for the phone.

I'm thinking about getting one, but what size is good?

And also, will I really be able to watch videos on my phone with this card?

As long as you have internet access you can access the mobile youtube site.
With a media card you can view .avi or .3GP videos. I'm not sure about mp4
    for the Curve though.

For .mp4 files, they have to be encoded using compatible codecs. Not all .mp4 files are the same, .mp4 is just a container, it could be encoded with a variety of audio/video codecs, not all are compatible with your BB.

I plan on getting a 8gb for my phone. I had already ordered one but TigerDirect.com is a bunch of idiots! YouTube video's won't work for me either, they always says my phone don't support their file type.

The size of the card your device will hold depends on the Operating System. To find it go to options>about or type the word myver and hit spacebar in a text to see your current OS. Once you have determined the version use this chart to see what size you need or want.

BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0 Up to 8 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0.81 and later Up to 16 GB
BlackBerry Device Software 4.6.0 and later Up to 32 GB
